Ukraine's second president Leonid Kuchma said he believes the U.S. is now the most reliable ally of Ukraine.
Responding to a question as to who he believes is now a reliable ally for Ukraine abroad, Kuchma said: “It think it’s the United States of America.”
Kuchma said he believes it would be more important for Ukraine if the EU generally had the same stance on the Ukraine issue as Sweden, Poland, and the Baltic states, in particular, Lithuania.
