Former Ukrainian Prime Minister and BYT-Batkivschyna leader Yulia Tymoshenko writes political slogans in the protocols of her questionings, Ukrainian First Deputy Prosecutor General Renat Kuzmin said in parliament on Wednesday, while making a report on cases opened by the Prosecutor General’s Office against Tymoshenko.

"Defendant Tymoshenko studies the materials of her case and instead of putting her signature she writes, and I quote: ‘The president betrays national interests. The prosecutor’s office and investigators fabricate criminal cases on the orders of the mafia. The mafia heads the country. Everybody starting from [Ukrainian President Viktor] Yanukovych to the deceitful investigator will be answerable to the law. All of them are corrupt officials and criminals. Glory to Ukraine! Yulia Tymoshenko," Ukrainian First Deputy Prosecutor General Renat Kuzmin said, citing one of the signatures of Tymoshenko in the protocols of questioning.

"Another protocol [reads]: ‘The case is completely fabricated. The SBU and PGO are subordinated to the mafia. Yulia Tymoshenko,’ Kuzmin said, citing another signature by Tymoshenko in a protocol.

"Tell me please, is this a respectful attitude towards the investigator? What is it? Is it the attitude of the politician to the state institution of prosecutor’s office or justice in general?" he said.

At the same time, Kuzmin said that the task of the investigator is to collect evidence and submit it to court, and added that "relations should be sorted out" in court.
