The Kyiv city committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine has created in the Ukrainian capital the Anti-Fascist People's Front of Kyiv, which also includes representatives of various social organizations that united to fight against fascism in Ukraine, the committee's press service has reported.

The main purpose of the Anti-Fascist People’s Front in the capital is “the consolidation of all anti-fascist and anti-Nazi forces in the city,” the coordination and development of common practical solutions to combat neo-fascism and neo-Nazism in Kyiv, and the creation of the people’s squads of the front in the city districts.

“It’s time to push to the background the differences in political views and beliefs in order to protect the city from the terror of national fascist storm troopers and criminals who have encroached on integrity, stability and calm in Kyiv,” the party said in a statement.

The meeting participants adopted an appeal to residents of Kyiv, in which the members of the Anti-Fascist People’s Front of Kyiv called on all men to form the territorial units of the people’s squads.
