You're reading: Kyrylenko: Opposition to press for cancellation of Kharkiv accords through Constitutional Court

The opposition without hope for a positive decision will initiate an appeal to the Constitutional Court to cancel Kharkiv accords due to violations when ratifying the agreements, leader of the For Ukraine! Party, MP (Our Ukraine-People's Self-Defense) Viacheslav Kyrylenko has said on the Channel 5.

"The law on international treaties clearly indicates the positive conclusions of the national security committee and the foreign policy committee. Ratification according to the law could not take place because additional circumstances should have been studied. If to combine all of the factors and have the impartial objective Constitutional Court, it would cancel this so-called ratification taking into account all of these absolutely clear facts," the MP said.

According to him, the Constitutional Court is unlikely to consider all circumstances and recognize that there was no ratification.
