Leonid Hrach has been expelled from the Communist Party of Ukraine, the party's press service reported on Thursday.

In addition, the Crimean republican committee of the party has been disbanded.

As reported, On December 12 Hrach was dismissed as the first secretary of the Crimean republican committee of the Communist Party, but on December 14 he was reinstated to the post.

Commenting on the situation, the politician said: "As for my situation, I understand quite well that behind this are ‘those from Donetsk,’ starting from Crimea and ending with [President] Viktor Yanukovych… I know which Donetsk group ordered [my dismissal]… I know what contribution was made to this by [Crimean Prime Minister and the leader of the Regions Party branch in Crimea Vasyl] Dzharty, and what kind of agreement was reached."
