Kyiv, May 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite plans to visit Ukraine's former prime minister, Yulia Tymoshenko, on Friday in Central Clinical Hospital No. 5. in Kharkiv, where the ex-premier is undergoing treatment, a source in diplomatic circles has told Interfax-Ukraine.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, the State Penitentiary Service and the President’s Administration haven’t confirmed this.
The source also said that Grybauskaite planned to meet with Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych in Kyiv on Friday.
Tymoshenko’s defense counsel Serhiy Vlasenko told the agency that he did not know whether Grybauskaite had received permission to meet with the former prime minister.
