Lutsenko sues Ukrainian prosecutors in a US court

While Ukraine’s opposition figures face trials in Ukraine, local prosecutors involved in politically motivated cases against former government officials may face legal action in a court in the United States.

Minister of Interior Yuri Lutsenko has been imprisoned for over a year

on charges that would be laughable if they were not so tragic. He is charged with hiring a driver past the retirement age and of spending $2000.00 over budget to mark Ukraine’s national police day.
