Pechersky District Court of Kyiv will continue the trial of Former Head of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's External Surveillance Department Oleksiy Pukach, who has been charged with the murder of journalist Georgy Gongadze, at 1100 on October 3rd.

Valentyna Telychenko, the lawyer for the journalist’s widow, Myroslava Gongadze, told reporters after a court sitting on Wednesday that at the next meeting the court would continue questioning the defendant, as this hasn’t yet been completed.

When asked why such a long break was announced, Telychenko said, "Today, the order of the Interior Ministry which is classified has been attached to the materials of the case and they finally gave this time so that all the parties to the trial have the opportunity to study this order."
