Naftogaz Ukrainy and Russia's OAO Gazprom in spring 2015 will start negotiating the price of Russian natural gas for Ukraine for summer, Naftogaz CEO Andriy Kobolev said.
“We’ve got negotiations of the [gas] price for summer ahead next spring,” he told TV Channel 1+1 on Friday night.
Kobolev said that the Ukrainian-Russian gas agreements reached in Brussels on October 30 cover the period from November 2014 to March 31, 2015. At the same time, the Stockholm arbitration’s decision on the dispute between the two companies is expected by the end of 2015.
Thus, the parties will have to launch new negotiations in spring.
