Donetsk Railways in Jan.-Sept. 2014 saw a net loss of 420.295 million Hr, whereas in the same period of 2013 its net profit amounted to 3.589 million Hr.
According to a company financial report in the information disclosure system of the National Commission on Securities and the Stock Market, its net income for the period decreased by 15.5%, to 5.484 billion Hr.
As reported, the railways in Jan.-June 2014 saw a net loss of 169.5 million Hr, while for the same period in 2013 its net profit was UAH 3.605 million. Its net income decreased by 1.6%, to 4.053 billion Hr.
As reported, with reference to chief business analyst of Ukrzaliznytsia’s main traffic department Mykola Topchiyev, the restoration of the damaged infrastructure of Donetsk Railways, according to preliminary estimates, will require 878 million Hr.
