You're reading: Novinsky wins by-election to Rada in Sevastopol

With all ballots counted, president of the Smart-Holding Group (Kyiv) Vadim Novinsky has won the repeat election to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in constituency No. 224 in Sevastopol.

According to the Web site of the Central Election Commission, 19,324 voters (53.41%) supported self-nominee Novinsky, 11,593 (32.12%) Communist Party member Vasyl Parkhomenko, 2,313 (6.42%) self-nominee Vasyl Zelenchuk, and 1,207 (3.35%) voted for the UDAR party member Dmytro Bilotserkovets.

A total of 36,509 people, which is 23.91% of the constituency’s 152,498 eligible voters, participated in the ballot.
