You're reading: Only two deputies meet criteria of honesty of Chesno movement

According to finalized data, only two MPs of the current convocation – Volodymyr Lanovy (Our Ukraine-People's Self-Defense) and Vasyl Derevliany (BYT-Batkivschyna) meet the criteria of honesty of the Chesno (Honestly) movement.

Center UA analyst Vadym Hudyma said at a press conference at
Interfax-Ukraine on Tuesday that the CHESNOmeter had revealed two more
dishonest deputies – Mykola Tomenko and Oleksandr Hudyma.

Tomenko, while answering the question of analysts, said by phone that
he had voted using the voting cards of other deputies, but before his
election as deputy parliament speaker. Chesno analysts also said that
Hudyma, who had earlier been recognized as meeting honesty criteria, had
exceeded expenditures on air travel.

At the same time, Derevliany disclosed his property declaration, which gave reason to recognize him as honest, Hudyma said.

He said that only 28 MPs had responded to the results of the Chesno
study, which were disclosed on July 23, and most of them from Our
Ukraine-People’s Self-Defense and BYT-Batkivschyna, and only two
deputies from the Regions Party.
