BYT-Batkivschyna parliamentary faction MPs, who have been blocking the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, have left the sessions hall for the Kyiv detention facility where an offsite court session is to consider a motion by a Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) investigator to arrest former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko in the case on the United Energy Systems of Ukraine (UESU) Corporation is held.

"Today, right now, we will leave the hall. Tomorrow in the morning we will return and continue blocking [the rostrum]," BYT-Batkivschyna MP Yuriy Odarchenko told reporters on Thursday.

"Now all of the deputies will leave for the Lukyanivka detention facility so as to be there when the court session finishes," he said.
