KHARKIV – Members of the BYT-Batkivschyna parliamentary faction have come to Central Clinical Hospital No. 5 in Kharkiv on July 9 to "prevent law violations" against former Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko.

“A group of people’s deputies from the BYT-Batkivschyna faction is
staying near the entrance of the hospital, where Yulia Tymoshenko is
undergoing treatment, to prevent possible violations against her,” the
MPs’ spokesperson told Interfax-Ukraine.

An Interfax-Ukraine reporter informed that around 20 lawmakers, including
Tymoshenko’s defense lawyer Serhiy Vlasenko and Head of the
BYT-Batkivschyna faction Andriy Kozhemiakin, were staying on the
territory of the hospital.

Many of the MPs brought camping chairs with them.
