A slender majority parliament will not survive or function without the support of the President's Office. Ukriaine will NEVER BE A FREE INDEPENDENT DEMOCRATIC STATE as long as it is beholden to Presidential rule.
Ukraine had a chance to put an end to the power strugger. It had a chance ro adopt a full Parliamentary system of governance in line with European values and European models but it was prevented by Yushchenko and his party Our Ukraine who opposed Ukraine becoming a true democratic state.
The Opposition will never be United or effective as long as those involved with the past Yushchenko regime remain in position of influence,
The Opposition sadly has no policy for reform that would serve to put an end to the political divisions and power struggles that prevent Ukraine from becoming a true democratic state. Untill it does it will continue to faulter and suffer defeat.
Yushchenko betrayed Ukraine and in doing so had set back Ukraine'-s democratic development decades if not generations.
