The opposition will start a two-month nationwide campaign, "Rise, Ukraine!" on Thursday, March 14.

“This week we’re starting an all-Ukrainian campaign ‘Rise, Ukraine!’ This campaign will begin on Thursday. We’ve decided to hold it for two months,” the leader of the Batkivschyna faction in parliament, Arseniy Yatseniuk, said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.

He said that this was a campaign of the struggle of citizens for their economic and political rights. Yatseniuk also said that one of the purposes of the campaign was to achieve the resignation of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych. The event will end on European Square in Kyiv on May 18.

The leader of the Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union, Oleh Tiahnybok, said that on March 14 the campaign would begin in Vinnytsia, on Friday in Uzhgorod, and on Saturday in Lviv.
