Poltava, January 12 (Interfax) - International observers are not satisfied with the level of funding of the Ukrainian presidential election, Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) observer Heinz Rudolf von Rohr said.
The problem is the lack of money for salaries and transport services, he said.
We got an impression that for people involved in the electoral process, the election is an important task, he said.
While everything is done quickly and overall preparations are going well, the question of finance, lack of money for salaries and transport services seem to be the only critical problem, he told journalists in Poltava
The electoral process seems to be moving in accordance with the law, said another observer from the European Network of Election Monitoring Organizations (ENEMO) mission.
On Tuesday, international observers met with Andriy Baranov, the deputy head of the Poltava regional administration and head of a working group which provides assistance to international observers.
