Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Rybak has said that the date for the signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU will be selected after the New Year.

“I think we will agree on the date after New Year and the agreement will be signed,” he said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday.

He noted that a Ukrainian government commission is working in Brussels on issues related to the signing of the Association Agreement.

“This issue is still on the agenda. It will be signed,” Rybak said.

“Tripartite talks [between Ukraine, Russia, and the EU] will be held soon, as Russia is not opposed, and the EU is not opposed [to such talks],” he said.
