The interim ad hoc commission of the Verkhovna Rada has approved a bill on parliamentary elections and is ready to submit it for consideration during the parliament's evening sitting on Thursday.
"We will consider a bill drafted by the ad hoc commission," Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn said, when asked whether the parliament was planning to consider a bill on elections on Thursday.
According to Lytvyn, at the moment, the committee on state building and local government is considering the draft law.
The chairman of the Verkhovna Rada added that as soon as the committee announces its decision, the bill would be passed to the session hall.
The parliament is to consider a bill on parliamentary elections during an evening plenary sitting on Thursday.
