Spokesman for the Interior Ministry, Volodymyr Polishchuk, said on Nov. 23 that tax code protesters must dismantle their tents and leave Independence Square promptly.
Polishchuk said a Kyiv regional administrative court had issued an order forbidding the demonstration, adding the order would be enforced.
Police on Nov. 22 documented various administrative offenses ranging from refusing to obey police orders of police to organizing an unsanctioned meeting, he said.
The protest encampment, which consists of several large military tents, remained standing as of 11:00 on Nov. 23.
