According to the survey, 11.8% of respondents are ready to vote for
Vitali Klitschko’s UDAR Party and 9.4% are ready to support the
Communist Party of Ukraine. Close to overcoming the 5% election
threshold are Natalia Korolevska’s Ukraine-Forward! Party (4.3%) and the
Svoboda Party (4.2%). Some 15.4% of those who intend to participate in
the vote were undecided.

In general, the situation ahead of the elections in the country is
characterized by a low level of optimism among the public, with 63% of
respondents believing that events in Ukraine are developing in the wrong
direction.

The survey was conducted jointly by GfK Ukraine, the Rating
Sociological Group, the Socis Center for Social and Marketing Research
and the Razumkov Center July 27 through August 9, 2012. A total of
10,979 respondents aged over 18 from all regions in Ukraine, Kyiv and
Crimea were interviewed.

The parliamentary elections in Ukraine are scheduled for October 28.
