You're reading: Poll: Four parties could win seats in Ukrainian parliament

The Regions Party, Batkivschyna, UDAR Party and the Communist Party of Ukraine could win seats in the Ukrainian parliament, according to a survey conducted by the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation and the sociological service of the Razumkov Center from August 10 to August 15.

According to the poll, the Regions Party will enjoy the support of
28.1% of those who intend to go to the polls, and compared with June
2012 the party’s ranking rose by 0.5%, from 27.6%.

Some 25.6% of respondents are ready to vote for the Batkivschyna Party, the same percentage as in June 2012.

Some 11.5% are ready to support the UDAR Party, whose ranking grew compared with June 2012 (9.7%).

Some 8.2% of voters are ready to back the Communist Party, and its rating rose by 1.1% compared with June 2012.

Natalia Korolevska’s Ukraine-Forward! Party lost nearly 0.6% of
support, as its rating fell from 4.6% to 4%. At the same time, Svoboda
Party’s rating grew by 0.7%, from 3.1% to 3.8%.

The other parties will collect less than 1% of the vote.

Some 1.5% of respondents would vote for another party, and 14.4% were undecided.

A total of 2,009 respondents from 132 towns and villages in all
regions in Ukraine were interviewed. The poll’s margin of error is 2.3%
with a probability of 0.95.
