The Popular Rukh of Ukraine has called on political forces to unite and use all legal means to prevent a concentration of power in the hands of Region Party leader Victor Yanukovych's team. "The Popular Rukh of Ukraine has announced that there has been an attack by anti-Ukrainian forces in our state. Rukh is convinced that all possible legal means should be used to prevent the concentration of power in the hands of anti-state politician Yanukovych and his pro-Moscow retinue. We urge all sound political forces to unite in parliament and in society," the party's political council said in a statement issued on Feb. 10.

The Popular Rukh of Ukraine blamed President Victor Yuschenko and "his bankrupt party" for the decision not to support either of the presidential candidates, which helped persuade 4.36% of the electorate to vote against both candidates, providing an advantage to Yanukovych.

The ball game is over for the once-proud Rukh movement. The former patriot Boris Tarasiuk is now in disgrace for switching his allegiance to the Putin-backed Tymoshenko.

Borys Tarasyuk is a major crook who should be thrown out of parliament and tried in a court for stealing public funds in the 2005 tender to improve Ukraine's image.

During that tender, Tarasyuk and a Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs channeled 12 million UAH to a fake firm in Kharkiv. The money was never found.

Since then Minister Tarasyuk has compromised himself and the Rukh Party he leads.

Its no wonder he went to Tymoshenko after the SBU found him guilty of corruption and Yushchenko told him he would never hold a ministerial post again. Tarasyuk cried and decided to get revenge.

Now, he along with Tymoshenko will be thrown out of the majority and into the minority. Hopefully, after the next parliamentary elections, we'll never have to see Tarasyuk again !!!

What a surprise with the comments. Boris Tarasyuk has only done good for Ukraine and it was a major plus for Julia to get his support and in reality become the current hero of people who want to modernise Ukraine.

Cherkasy is this real your name or is it sore loser etc as you really are in my view a sad child.
