You're reading: Poroshenko dismisses Shulha as Sumy region governor

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed a decree to dismiss Volodymyr Shulha from the post of the head of Sumy Regional State Administration.

The decree was posted on the Ukrainian president’s Web site on Wednesday, 17.

As reported, on March 3, 2014, Acting President of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov appointed Shulha as Sumy regional governor.

Shulha was born in 1973 in Odesa. He is a member of the Batkivschyna faction in the Ukrainian parliament of the seventh convocation, and deputy chairman of the Sumy regional branch of the Batkivschyna All-Ukrainian Association.
