Brussels – Kyiv and Brussels have agreed to draw up a joint program on the business climate and form a joint regime of dialog, which will clearly monitor the situation regarding the investment climate.

Such agreement was reached in Brussels on Tuesday at a meeting between Ukrainian Economic Development and Trade Minister Petro Poroshenko and European Trade Commissioner Karel De Gucht.

Poroshenko said that the sides had noted "positive changes in terms of improving the situation with the deregulation of the business environment."

"We’ve agreed to introduce a joint program, which will be called ‘Dialog on the business climate,’ and representatives from the European Commission will participate in it," he said.

Poroshenko said that as part of the program, the sides would make a thorough assessment of all processes that are occurring in the business climate, from public procurement to the process of deregulation.
