Ukrainian President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko discussed on Friday with heads of parliaments of Denmark, Ireland, Lithuania, Poland and Sweden the implementation of Minsk agreements on Donbas settlement.

“The head of state stressed the need to fulfill Minsk agreements by all the parties. First of all, it is necessary to close the Ukrainian-Russian border to stop the inflow of arms, troops, illegal money and drugs,” reads the statement posted on the president’s Web site.

In addition, all the hostages, including Ukrainian pilot Nadia Savchenko, who is imprisoned in Russia, must be liberated, the president said.

“Poroshenko urged the heads of the parliament to facilitate the liberation of all the hostages in Donbas,” the press service said.
