The Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office has denied reports that former Ukrainian Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko was transferred to a one-man cell after starting a hunger strike.

"Some media reported that Lutsenko was transferred to a one-man cell. This information is not true. Lutsenko is still in the same cell," the media relations department of the Prosecutor General’s Office reported on Wednesday.

The PGO also said that Lutsenko is "voluntarily taking a nutritional mixture."

Doctors are examining the ex-minister daily, and his health condition is satisfactory, the PGO said.
