Around 1,500 protesters on Independence Square continued a protest rally against the Tax Code on Monday.

An Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported that despite a mix of snow and rain, protesters had still gathered on the Independence Square.

A new demand from the protesters is the dismissal of Ukrainian Vice Premier Sergiy Tigipko, who did not agree to meet protesters’ demands.

The businessmen have been protesting against the Tax Code for the eighth day in a row.
