You're reading: Pshonka asked Klitschko about blocking of Ukrainian parliament’s work

Leader of the UDAR Party Vitali Klitschko has said that Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Pshonka asked him about the political situation in the country during their meeting, particularly about the blocking of the parliament's work by the opposition factions.

“We also talked about the political situation. The prosecutor general asked about the opposition’s demands and how we could settle the conflicts,” Klitschko told journalists in Kyiv on Wednesday, following a meeting with Pshonka.

Klitschko said that he briefed Pshonka on the opposition’s key demands to the parliamentary majority, the most important of which is to ensure that the parliamentarians vote individually.

“How? This is another question. We are ready to consider options with a touch sensitive button, voting by raising hands or by filling in ballots. Anyway, voting must be individual. We believe that we will prove that we are right and this constitutional norm will be implemented,” he said.
