The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine at a meeting on Friday is to hear the report by the government on the results of an international audit of the financial activities of the Ukrainian authorities, Parliamentary Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn has said.

"We agreed on that on Friday we will hear a report by the Cabinet of Ministers on the results of the international audit," Lytvyn said at a press conference on Monday, when asked which member of the government will be reporting during "an hour of the government" in parliament on Friday.

While commenting on one proposal made at a conciliatory council meeting – to hear Vice Premier and Social Policy Minister Sergiy Tigipko give a report on Friday, the speaker said: "We need to wait until the Cabinet of Ministers submits a relevant bill on pension reform to study it and then competently discuss this matter."

"I think we could do it next week," he said.
