Incumbent Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko was and will be Ukraine's most effective opposition politician and she will not allow Regions Party leader Viktor Yanukovych not to fulfill his election promises at the presidential post, Regions Party Deputy Head Borys Kolesnikov has said. "She [Tymoshenko] was the most effective politician during the entire period of Ukraine's recent history, because if the promises [made by Yanukovych as a presidential candidate] are not kept, we'll be the first to learn this from Yulia Volodymyrivna [Tymoshenko]," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Thursday. Kolesnikov also commented on Tymoshenko's claim that Yanukovych's camp is not fulfilling its promises.

"Let Yulia Volodymyrivna [Tymoshenko], while she has a few days left [to lead] the government, worry about the repayment of the Soviet Sberbank's debts and the cancellation of conscription [to the army], and fulfill her own promises, and let her not worry about our promises," he said.
