The Regions Party faction has proposed to appoint Viktor Slauta from the Regions Party to the post of vice premier for the farming sector in the new government, a source in the parliament has told Interfax-Ukraine.
He said that the faction had also initiated the nomination of Mykola Prysiazhniuk for the post of agriculture minister. Prysiazhniuk currently heads of the parliamentary committee for farming policy and land relations.
