You're reading: Regions Party to hold pre-election congress on July 30

The 14th congress of the Regions Party, dedicated to the upcoming parliamentary elections in Ukraine, will be held on July 30. 

The participants in the congress will approve the party’s election platform, the electoral list of candidates for deputies in multi-member constituencies, and candidates for deputies in single-member constituencies, the party’s press service reported on Wednesday.

The program of the congress includes speeches by the Regions Party’s honorary leader, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, and the party’s chairman, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov.

A press center with Wi-Fi has been organized for the convenience of media representatives. The congress will be broadcast live on plasma screens installed in the press center.

The congress will be held at the International Exhibition Center (Pavilion No. 3) at 15 Brovarsky Avenue.
