Regions Party leader Oleksandr Yefremov has said that the actions of opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko, who is calling on people to participate in rallies, are unlawful.
"I think that those steps being taken by Tymoshenko could finally end badly, to such an extent that an international tribunal will try her," he said in Kyiv on Tuesday.
Yefremov said that Tymoshenko wanted to bring Ukraine to poverty "so as to give orders to poor people after that."
"I can definitely say that [she’ll fail to] do so. We’ll prevent [her] from doing so. We will insist that the economy grows, and all enterprises work," he said.
Yefremov said that opposition leaders should stop and not worsen the situation in the country.
