You're reading: Russian Duma chief calls for “constructive dialogue” with Ukraine parliament

Moscow -- Russian State Duma Chairman Sergei Naryshkin on Nov. 28 said he was open to "a constructive dialogue" with the newly-elected chairman of the Ukrainian parliament, Volodymyr Hroisman. 

“I expect that constructive dialogue will be developed between the State Duma and Verkhovna Rada, including in the formats of the bilateral interparliamentary commission and interparliamentary liaison group on Ukraine of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe,” a Duma statement that was made available to Interfax quoted Naryshkin as saying in a message to Hroisman.
