You're reading: Rybak: All branches of Ukrainian government doing utmost to sign agreement with EU in November

The chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, Volodymyr Rybak, has expressed the hope that Ukraine and the European Union will sign the Association Agreement in November.

“Today the European integration course has united the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine first of all,” Rybak said at a meeting in Rivne.

The Ukrainian parliament, president and government are doing the
utmost “in order to sign the agreement on European integration in late
November,” Rybak said.

He also said that a range of bills is yet to be passed by the
parliament by November 28-29, notably a bill on public prosecutions, a
bill on elections, and a bill on an independent investigatory agency.
