ODESA - Six parties have received sits in Odesa Regional Council of the 7th convocation as a result of the October 25 election.
The Opposition Bloc will get the largest number of seats in the council – 23 out of a total of 84, having mustered 21.8 percent of the vote. They are followed by the Petro Poroshenko Bloc “Solidarity” with 20.2 percent of the vote. The party got 22 seats, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported from Odesa regional territorial election commission.
Also, twelve seats in the regional council will go to the party of Odesa mayor “Trust the Deeds”, which received 11.1 percent of the vote, eleven seats will go to the Batkivschyna All-Ukrainian Union with 10.6% of the vote, eight seats will go to Vidrodzhennia (Revival) Party, which got 7.4 percent of the vote, and Nash Kray also with 7.4 percent of the vote, each.
