An absolutely new version of the bill on parliamentary elections is to be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada, a source in parliament has said.
According to the source, the majority of the members of the ad hoc commission for the development of the draft law went to a meeting with many proposals from opposition representatives.
The issues of forming blocks, the mixed election system and the election threshold still remain controversial.
The source assumed that the parliament could pass the bill on parliamentary elections on Thursday.
The members of the ad hoc commission refused to comment on the report.
