The Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc on Sept. 7 said deputy bloc leader Oleksandr Turchynov has been called in for questioning at 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 8 at the offices of the State Security Service (SBU) in downtown Kyiv.

Turchnynov, who worked as SBU chief following the Orange Revolution in 2004 and as deputy prime minister under Tymoshenko from 2007-2010, denies any wrongdoing.

Police, state prosecutors and the SBU in recent weeks have questioned several former high ranking officials. Law-enforcement authorities say they are currently looking for former Economy Minister Bohdan Danylyshyn and former State Treasurer Tetiana Sliuz.
