Stretovych dismissed as vice premier of shadow government

Volodymyr Stretovych is no longer a vice premier of the opposition government, Serhiy Sobolev, the opposition prime minister and MP, has said. Stretovych was expelled as he "has finally taken the side of the government," Sobolev said.

The head of the opposition government said that other staff changes also could take place, the Web site of the Batkivschyna Party reported.

Stretovych (OU-PSD faction member) became a vice premier of the opposition government in late March 2010.
The Kyiv Post is disabling its online comment section due to an increase in trolls, violent comments and other personal attacks. Other news organizations worldwide have taken similar steps for the same reasons. The Kyiv Post regrets having to take this action.
