EU Ambassador to Ukraine Jose Manuel Pinto Teixeira has said that he has no reliable information on whether the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine has allowed former Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko to meet with him.
He also said that he was ready to visit Tymoshenko on August 11. The diplomat told journalists in Dnipropetrovsk that if the penitentiary service permits such a meeting, he would meet with Tymoshenko in Kharkiv tomorrow.
He added that he has been trying to meet with Tymoshenko since the moment of her arrest.
Earlier, the penitentiary service said that Tymoshenko insisted on a meeting with Teixeira despite the recent recommendation of her doctors to refrain from having meetings.
The penitentiary service stressed that Teixeira did not send any requests to meet with Tymoshenko, as last time.

Putin would visit Yanukovych in Jail.
If Vladko were to visit Vitya in his new accomodations it would probably be very brief. No words. Just a Mona Lisa smile followed by a middle finger, an optional passing of gas and then a departure. There is no love lost between either despot.
If I were a member of authority, I would show mercy to Tymoshenko, it would be more expedient! Remember how Gerald Ford pardoned the coruptive activities of Richard Nixon. It could have been worse!
