You're reading: Tiahnybok remains indifferent to UDAR’s call on cooperation with democratic forces in Rada

Leader of the Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union Oleh Tiahnybok does not take seriously an appeal from UDAR Party leader Vitali Klitschko for cooperation with the oppositional political forces.

“I don’t know what the position of UDAR will be. Now they can say
anything they want, but we’ll see [what happens] at the first vote at
the Verkhovna Rada,” he said at the briefing in Kyiv on Monday.

He said that on Sunday evening in a television interview Klitschko
did not clearly answer a question from a Svoboda representative on
whether the UDAR party will vote for the impeachment of President Viktor
Yanukovych.

“That’s why the statement of Vitali Klitschko at the moment is just a statement,” the Svoboda leader said.
