The head of the central election headquarters of the Batkivschyna United Opposition, Oleksandr Turchynov, has said he believes that the question of the presidential elections in 2015 is now irrelevant and that it is necessary to talk about the impeachment of incumbent President Viktor Yanukovych and the holding of early presidential elections.
“The question of the presidential campaign in 2015 is now
untimely, while the issue of early presidential elections is
relevant,” he said at a press conference at the press center of
the united opposition, when asked how the united opposition sees its
participation in future presidential elections.
Turchynov said that in the parliamentary elections the Ukrainian
people had expressed its attitude to the current president.
