Former Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko hopes that the Ukrainian national football team will play well against England on Tuesday.

“I know that our team will play selflessly, strongly on June 19, and
they will present us with a real football holiday. So, believe in and
support our team, they are representing Ukraine in a worthy manner,” the
press service of the Batkivschyna Party cited Tymoshenko as saying.

“Now they, as never before, need your support… and we also will give them our energy,” the ex-premier said.

As reported, Ukraine defeated Sweden 2-1 in their first group match
of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship, but then suffered a 0-2
defeat in the match with France.
