Batkivshchyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko says Rodion Kireyev’s actions as judge in her trial are illegal.

"You are constantly violating every aspect of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. It’s because the president allowed you to use Gryphon and Berkut and you’re using this to illegally remove people from the courtroom," Yulia Tymoshenko said after People’s Deputy Oleksandr Chornovolenko was forcibly removed from the courtroom by Gryphon special units.

Yulia Tymoshenko stressed that she plans to file charges against Judge Kireyev, according to Tymoshenko’s website.

"You are committing violence in the court. You are behaving rudely and illegally. We will be filing a complaint to open a criminal case against you for all your actions that are not compatible with the rank of judge," she said.

Tymoshenko is already on trial on charges she abused her office in signing a natural gas import deal with Russia in 2009.

Tymoshenko denies the accusations and says the trial is an attempt by President Viktor Yanukovych to bar her from politics.

The new probe focuses on whether former Cabinet officials and employees of United Energy Systems of Ukraine, a firm managed by Tymoshenko in the mid 1990s, embezzled $405 million.
