Leaders of the Batkivschyna and People's Self Defense parties, Yulia Tymoshenko and Yuriy Lutsenko, who are currently held in custody, know about the plans of their political forces to participate jointly in the parliamentary elections scheduled for 2012, MP Yuriy Hrymchak of the Our Ukraine-People's Self-Defense said on air of Channel 5. The lawmaker said that the People's Self-Defense had human resources, who will join the team of the Batkivschyna Party, whereas the funding will be taken care of later.

"The People's Self-Defense have enough human resource, it has branches in all the regions, in some regions it is stronger in others weaker, but they are present in all regions. Today, we are unit ing human resource rather than financial, material resource. That is, we are currently uniting human resource and the funding will come," the lawmaker said.

Yes, and *Yulia* will be in charge. SHE wears the strap-on, while Yuriy prefers to be submissive. The thrusting does cause Yulia some back pain, however.

There is no reason to post such comments on this forum. If you want to make a constructive comment about the article, then do so. However, leave such foolishness as you just posted off this forum.

While I realize it was probably meant in jest, still....have a little common sense in your posts.

Our Ukraine is the reason and cause for the collapse of the Orange revolution and the demise of democracy in Ukraine. Our Ukraine can only win parliamentary seats with the tactical support of Party of Regions in selective single member electorates. If it was not for Our Ukraine members Yanukovych and the government would not be in office. Our Ukraine opposed Ukraine adopting European values and and European models of democratic government.

With less then 2% support they will not be re-elected to office but they will tale votes away from the opposition in key marginal seats under the new revised electoral laws.

Under the single member first-past-the-post voting system The opposition has 40 marginal seats and the Government only 16.

Peoples Self Defense party's greatest mistake was trusting Yushchenko and joining his party 'Our Ukraine'.

Hahaha! Great post!

However, I think Yulia is a criminal of a much higher order than Yuriy.

The whole of The Crimea, dipshit. Didn't you realise it was Russian territory for over 200 years? It was illegally 'gifted' to the Ukrainian SSR by a demented Ukrainian villager - Krushev

Dear Ivan Durak; Please note that the Crimean peninsula was inhabited for several hundred years by Tatars before the Russians invaded and as such Muscovy has no monopoly over this territory. As for Nikita Khrushchev (note the spelling Ivan), he was an ethnic Russian. It is obvious that you require some remedial education.

Soon all of Ukraine (except the Party of Russians) will be united against the evil dictator.

Well half of the population supports the Party of Regions, so I guess "all of Ukraine" to you must mean the village yokels in L'vov and surrounding towns.

The Party of Russians has a support of about 10%, not 50%.

Have you bothered to read the opinion polls recently?

In single member constituencies, this makes good sense. It would also make sense for UDAR and Svoboda to join the Alliance on this basis.

All opposition forces should then agree on a basic platform of democratic/ electoral - judicial - constitutional and foreign policy reforms at the very least.

It would make sense for the opposition to introduce a fully preferential voting system as a first step in government - so that the wishes of the majority of Ukrainians could not be hijacked by the minority PoR in the Rada.

It would also make sense to back a fully parliamentary majority based system which severely limits the powers of the Presidency.
