The State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine has refused to give permission for a meeting of Head of the Central Election Headquarters of the Batkivschyna United Opposition Oleksandr Turchynov and Chairman of the Council of the Batkivschyna United Opposition Arseniy Yatseniuk with former Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko.

The press service of the united opposition reported that the politicians were planning to meet with Tymoshenko on Sept. 20 by the ex-premier's request.

"Thus, the Penitentiary Service of Ukraine has again broken Article 110 of the Penal Code of Ukraine," the opposition said.
