You're reading: Tymoshenko refuses to stand up by judge’s speech

Batkivshchyna Party leader, ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko refuses again to stand up by speech of judge of Pechersk District Court of Kyiv Rodion Kireyev and explains that it is the only remedy.

Before this at the request of the prosecution witness –assistant of Yulia Tymoshenko Mykhaylo Livinskyi was removed from the courtroom.

Tymoshenko’s defender Mykola Tytarenko made a protest against actions of the judge.

He noted that the removal of Livinskyi is illegal because the circle of witnesses has not been defined yet and an interrogation has not started yet.

At the same time, the judge insists on removing Livinskyi from the courtroom.

Commenting on this situation, Tymoshenko noted that she understands that the judge is a “dependent person”.

“Illegal actions taking place now. I do not stand up before the court because it is the only remedy”, she said.
