KHARKIV – Former prime minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko has called the accusations of her involvement in the assassination of MP Yevhen Scherban in 1996 a blatant lie, which will be easy to refute in international courts.

“It will not be difficult to refute such a blatant lie in
international courts. And I mean international, because you know well
what courts, prosecutors and investigators in Ukraine are worth,”
Tymoshenko said in a statement made public by her defense counsel Serhiy
Vlasenko on Tuesday.
