Ukraine's former Prime Minister and leader of the Batkivschyna party Yulia Tymoshenko has been summoned to come to the Prosecutor General's Office on Wednesday to study the materials of a criminal case against her.

Tymoshenko said that the Prosecutor General’s Office had no right to demand she study the materials of her case, since this is done on a voluntary basis.

At the same time, she said she will come to the Prosecutor General’s Office and won’t be hiding.

"They have offered us to study the materials of the case tomorrow, but I want to remind you that under the current legislation studying the case is a voluntary matter.

They have tried today to give me a summons to force me to come," she said.
